4th Annual El Tour for Tots
El Tour de Tucson on November 23, 2024
Courtney’s Courage is organizing our fourth annual Cycling team – El Tour for Tots – of all ages and levels to ride in the El Tour de Tucson on November 23, 2024. We have team members riding in each of the 28, 57, and 100 mile rides. Together we are launching a new campaign to fund cancer research and family assistance. We’d love to have you be a part of it!
Children are being newly diagnosed daily, and many more are in various stages of cancer treatment. It is because of our Rider support that we were able to raise $58,000 with 35 riders. We have set our Goals for the 2024 ride to 60 Riders/$75,000. It is supporters like yourself, that enable our organization to continue to assist our Tucson families by passing through .96 cents of every dollar donated to aide families with essential daily needs, paying bills, deliver food and snacks to their caregivers in the hospitals and clinics, creating Angel and Sibling packs for family members and offer monthly support groups for Moms/Teens/Bereavement.
We are asking our supporters and key partners to rally their friends, family and business networks to support Courtney's Courage's work. By becoming a fundraiser for El Tour for Tots you will be able to assist more children during their cancer treatment and provide support to their families, all while making your friends feel good about doing something good for children with cancer.

Riders, It's time for our final team ride to prepare for the 2024 El Tour de Tucson. The final Team prep ride is Saturday November 16th. Rides will start at 7:00 am at the Rillito Race Park.
We will follow a recurring route every ride. Each ride will start and follow the Loop heading east for 10 miles then return (20 miles total) to the Courtney tent at the Rillito Race Park for a quick fueling then for those who wish to continue the ride will continue west on the Loop for 15 miles then a return (30 miles total) to the Courtney tent at Rillito Race Park. The rides will be a no drop style and proceed and maintain a peloton pace. The rides are meant to be as inclusive as possible so each rider is encouraged to ride as far and as long as they wish. Any riders wishing to train at lead pace are welcome. The goal is to meet together and start together as our Courtney's Courage Team. Riders can ride any part of the route that they feel comfortable with, you can join us at the turns or arrive later and ride the 15 mile route with the team (8am approximately)
Are you interested in participating in a "Peloton Team"?
To all riders, Jeri has asked for any of our team that would like to ride the 60 mile as a no drop peloton to show off our Courtney's Courage team.
Jeri would like to emphasize that the team would ride together the whole way, This would not be a race but a team charity pride ride. To come across the finish line together.
The team would be stopping at the "Cheer tent" for some cheer and photo-op. If you are interested please send an email to eltourfortots@courtneyscourage.org. If you have signed up for the 30 miles or the 100 miles but want to participate in the "Peloton Team" you can change your mileage when you do your packet pickup.
